In the run-up to the opening of LENA, our new Mediterranean foodbar on the Kerkplein in Alkmaar, we are looking for enthusiastic servers to join our front-of-house team.
At LENA, everything revolves around sitting down together. Our food is made for sharing: dips and mezze, ibéricos, coca’s and dishes from the grill. As a server, you are the face of LENA and you make sure every guest feels welcome from the very first minute.
What will you do?
As part of our front-of-house team, you and your colleagues make sure the evening runs smoothly, including:
- Hospitality: you greet guests with a warm welcome and give them an evening they will talk about for a long time.
- Advice: you talk about the menu with enthusiasm, help tables choose what to share and know which glass goes with it.
- Service: you take orders, serve and keep the overview, even when the house is full.
- Teamwork: you work closely with the kitchen and the bar, so every table runs smoothly.
What do you bring?
- Hospitality experience is a plus; the right attitude matters more to us
- A guest-first attitude and an eye for detail
- Good communication skills and a proactive approach
- You stay calm when it gets busy and keep the mood warm
- Availability in the evenings and at weekends
- A well-groomed, welcoming presence
- Good command of Dutch and English
